With back row forward Matthew Muirhead being wed shortly in South Africa, and taking several squad members with him as guests, this match was always going to be a struggle away to a well drilled and talented Streets team. Royston battled well all day, and were rewarded with a first half score by veteran Aussie Dave, converted by Will Cottrell. Second half, Royston continued to toil away and earned further scores by the prolific Max Finney and Dan Ritsema, leaving them tied on eight tries a piece for the season going into next week's final game against Cheshunt. Cottrell added a further conversion but Royston left Hackney with 19 points and no try bonus. One game left to play, which will dictate if the Crows finish 9th, 10th or 11th, with an 11th place finish being particularly harsh for this seasons efforts as a whole, so much to play for!
