Royston Ladies V St Neots Ladies

St Neots RUFC hosted Royston Ladies on a bright sunny day and both teams started really well and focussed on the job at hand. Royston started dominating possession and the work soon paid off and concluded in the first points of the day. Royston dominated most of the play scoring trys by using both the forwards and the backs. Really good team effort and the work we have been doing on support and sharing the workload between all the team really paid off today. The half time discussion helped focus on a few points in the second half and the Ladies continued to apply pressure and get the reward. Some very good phases of play today by Royston. St Neots Ladies applied pressure to Royston on many occasions but the points just didn't happen for them due to Roystons defence. Finally St Neots got the reward when a great series of phases leading into Roystons 5m line concluded in a try. A great game of rugby today between the two teams.
