Royston Under 15's 73 - 5 Haverhill Under 15's
Skipper Jacob Boyce led his well-drilled team to an eleven try romp over an inexperienced Haverhill side at a sunny Heath on Sunday.
James Shannon led the way with four tries, Rhys Redrup and Steve Graham bagged two each. The other try scorers were: Max Ayliffe, Max Oliver and Chris Chivanganye. Back of the match Ben Ireland kicked nine conversions and orchestrated most of Royston's moves from fly half. Forward of the match was Kane McCann on his debut, who gave a solid performance in the second row. Coach Dave Ayliffe praised every squad member adding 'every member is stepping up, lets hope it continues.'
