Good rugby, good competition

We travelled to Huntingdon for a friendly. Due to holidays etc we played 9 and 8 a side rugby on the standard 12 a side pitch so the games were very open with great play from both sides resulting on lots of tries for both teams. We played 4 very competitive matches across the 2 teams on ground that was becoming firmer with every passing minute. The players were fantastic in that they were putting together a lot of what we have worked on over the season. We had strong support players, good rucking, taking the ball at pace and some great passing coupled with good decision making with and without the ball. It was great to see how much the players have developed over the season and how the confidence they have in each other has grown. There are also some very good partnerships developing across the team which is improving the overall structure of the team. Well done and a great way to finish off the formal season.
