U13's step it up.

Another fantastic game today for our boys. They are really coming along very well, two fantastic performances in two weeks. Again the defence was stellar, to be honest with you both of the oppositions tries were very dubious. The quote of the day was when Harlow scored their second dodgy try, Jacob pleaded with the ref that there was a blaintaint forward pass and an off side, which lead to the try. The ref said, sorry I didn't see it, and what does it matter you are still winning the game. Jacobs response was, Yes sir but I just want a fair game of rugby. A classic response from a young man senior of his years!!

As I have been saying for the past couple of weeks, we are very fortunate to have great line breakers of Rhys Dear (good to have you back mate), James Shannon and George Howard. But the most pleasing thing to see (for me) is the other boys stepping up to the mark, the small almost unseen things which have really set the platform for the past two matches. James Reeder was outstanding today, his work rate was awesome as was Big Tom. Aiden's and Dan's work in the line out was very impressive too, the boys turned over quiet a few of their throws. Tyler and Dan were running very well with ball in hand also.
Joesph and Charlie are really stepping up their game on the wing, and they are becoming two very confident young players.
It was a good showing of little Tom, played first game for us and played out of position and on the wing.
