Royston Colts enjoy a game in the sun

Harpenden was bathed in sunshine for this outing with Royston having a bare 15 players. Strong wind did not dampen all the players appetite for some very adventurous rugby.
Both sides registering scores and with an unfortunate injury to Matthew Weimann Harpenden lent a series of players to keep our numbers up. When one asked if there were any particular moves he was told to just go out and give it a go and enjoy himself, which he duly did. The game was played in good spirit and everyone seemed to enjoy the game. A big thankyou to Tim and his coaches for being such gracious hosts and to all the boys from both sides for the way they played the game. Wishing the Harpenden Academy all the best for the rest of the season.
The boys have decided that this was the last friendly this side of christmas as it has been a struggle getting 15 available players and so we look to concentrate all player effort on league and cup fixtures
