The EC trials took place on Wednesday with three U17 players from Royston.

Three U17 Royston players represented Cambridgeshire on Wednesday evening at the Easter Counties trial consisting of  30 min games against Norfolk and Suffolk.

Kai Pendlebury started at No 8,
Alex Howarth at second row and Captain 2nd game
Fin Livingstone as hooker and Captain 1st game

Sadly Kai was injured in the first half of the first game jackalling at a break down and could not take any furthef part in the trial games. Fin and Alex secured some good Cambridge ball in lineouts.

All three Royston players did themselves proud, with the Cambs pack stronger when they were on the pitch.

All three are now waiting to see if they have made the EC squad to play fixtures after christmas.
