Curtain Raiser Match for England Legends v Ireland Legends Game
Friday March 16th

The England v Ireland Legends game this year is in the evening of Friday 16th March at the Twickenham Stoop with a 7:45pm kick off and we are the curtain raiser for the event!
We will play on Friday afternoon / early evening (time to be confirmed) and may get a chance to actually play part of our game on the Stoop depending on the pitch condition on the day!
The whole event is to raise funds for various injured players charities so we need to raise as much as we can as individuals and a club to help make the day a success.
What we need is all you Chaps that are 35 years old and over for our squad! We can take a squad of 25 players.
We also need a load of supporters!
The idea is after we play we get changed, have a few bevys and then watch the Legends game. We do have to buy tickets for the game as all the money goes to the charities.
The tickets are £20 for an adult and £6 for an U16, Steve Greaves and I have 100 tickets in stock for sale to players and supporters! All the seats will be together in the same block at the Stoop so we all sit together for the Legends Game and we are hoping to get use of the players bar as it is close by!
This is a great opportunity for us as a club as it’s a high-profile event this year and a chance to raise money for various injured players charities so let’s get behind it!

• Can you play? Go on take the Friday afternoon off work and have a run about with the boys, then a bevy or 2 and then watch some real Legends!
• How many tickets would you like for you as a player or supporters? We could get a bus if enough interest!
Now, if you need any more convincing then talk to Steve or Lee as there may be another very nice benefit of being in the playing squad that day! What can I say…….. Party time with some rather good rugby players may be on the cards!
