The Law is changing

Dear All
Data laws are changing. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force on 25 May 2018 and represents a reshaping of the data protection landscape.

In simple terms, GDPR will help protect the personal data of those involved in Royston Rugby Club by requiring better governance and transparency. We need to give more information to you about what we do with your data, why, and for how long.

Please see attached our Data Privacy Policy which is also available on our website which outlines our compliance with the GDPR laws. We hold your data in GMS (the Rugby Football union database) and Pitchero (our club website provider), you may also get communication and marketing e mails from us via Pitchero if you wish to opt out of these please email datacontroller@roystonrugbyclub.co.uk.

Please do read the attached carefully and if you have any queries please contact the data controller.
